Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026 · DPDP Act, 2023 compliant

Your privacy is the product. We collect only what we need to find you savings, we never sell your data, and you can withdraw consent or delete your data at any time. This policy explains what we collect and why.

1. What we collect

Identity and KYC (name, PAN, date of birth), contact details, and — only with your consent — financial data such as your credit report, bank/payment SMS, mandates, mutual-fund and insurance details.

2. Why we collect it

Solely to review your finances and generate recommendations. We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we never sell it to anyone.

3. Consent & control

Every data source is linked only after your explicit consent, shown per-source in Connected Accounts. You can disconnect any source or withdraw consent at any time.

4. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with bank-grade encryption. Access is tightly controlled and audited.

5. Retention

We delete data we no longer need on request. Some records (e.g. KYC, transaction history) are retained for the period the RBI and IT rules require, then permanently purged.

6. Your rights (DPDP Act)

You may access, correct, or erase your data, withdraw consent, and nominate a representative. Use in-app controls or contact our Grievance Officer.

7. Third parties

We share only the minimum data needed with the regulated partner you choose to proceed with, and with service providers bound by strict confidentiality.

To exercise any data right, contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@maximoney.app.
